The studio
three people.
three disciplines.
one line.
outdere exists because the distance between an idea and a thing that exists is where most work quietly dies. Somebody has to carry it across. That is the whole job.
01 / Why we exist
Most studios hand you a piece.
You brief a 3D studio, then a brand studio, then someone to film it. Three vocabularies, three interpretations, three handovers — and the idea loses a little of its edge at every one.
We were three freelancers watching that happen to our own work. outdere is the answer: the same three people from the first rough form through to the way it shows up in public, so nothing has to survive a translation.
02 / Who you get
No account layer.
Each of us owns a discipline end to end. There is nobody on the call who wasn’t in the file, and the person who shows you the work is the person who made it.

01
Daniel Fernandes
Content & presence
Videography, editing and social direction. Shoots and cuts in-house, and owns the cadence a brand releases on — which is usually the difference between a launch and a campaign.

02
Diogo Gonçalves
Concept & 3D design
Form before it exists. Modelling, lighting and look development — the work that lets a decision be made by looking at something instead of imagining it.
-
03
Rui Lopes
Brand identity
The system underneath everything else. Positioning, typography, colour and the rules that hold them together, built so the brand still reads as itself when someone else is running it.
03 / How it runs
Four movements.
The same shape on every project, whether it’s a product film or a full identity. You always know which movement you’re in and what comes out of it.
-
01
Frame
We find the one sentence the work has to be true to. Nothing gets made until that sentence exists and you agree with it.
Out — a written position
-
02
Form
The first tangible thing. Rough, deliberately — silhouettes, directions, a look. Cheap to change while changing is still cheap.
Out — routes to choose from
-
03
Make
Production. Modelling, lighting, typesetting, shooting, cutting. One route, taken all the way to finished.
Out — the work itself
-
04
Release
The part most studios leave to you. Files, rules and a plan for how it goes out — so the work survives contact with the real world.
Out — a system you can run
04 / Capacity
Small core.
Wide bench.
Three founders is the core, and it stays three on purpose. Around it sits a bench of people we have worked with for years — photographers, retouchers, type designers, developers, sound.
We bring them in by name, credit them by name, and scale a project without ever handing it to someone you didn’t hire. It is how a studio this size takes on work this size.
05 / The fit
We are selective,
and it cuts both ways.
Good fit
- You have something genuinely made — a product, a material, a process — that is more sophisticated than anything you currently have to show for it.
- You want one team across concept, identity and content, not three briefs.
- Someone with authority is in the room from the start.
Not a fit
- You need volume production at the lowest price per asset.
- The direction is already decided and you want hands, not judgement.
- Approval runs through a committee that hasn’t met yet.
Saying this out loud saves everyone a call. If the second column is you, we will say so quickly and point you somewhere better.

let’s make
it real.
Tell us what exists only in your head right now. We’ll tell you what it takes to make it real, and whether we’re the studio to do it.
